At Threads of Gulab, every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India. Because each order is made to order rather than pulled from ready stock, our timelines look a little different from mass-produced retail brands — and we'd rather be upfront about that than rush the craftsmanship.

1. Order Processing Time

All products are made to order, by hand, in Jaipur

Standard processing time is 3–5 working days before dispatch, depending on the piece and current order volume

As handwork depends on artisan availability and small-batch production schedules, processing may occasionally run toward the longer end of this window — we factor this into the estimate so you're never left guessing. During periods of high demand, more orders are being made by hand at once, which can naturally extend this window

During peak seasons or high order volumes, timelines may extend further; we'll proactively notify you if your order is affected

Orders are processed Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays

2. Domestic Shipping (India)

Orders are shipped via trusted courier partners such as Blue Dart, Delhivery, or India Post

Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 5–7 working days, depending on location

A tracking link will be shared via email once your order ships

3. International Shipping

We ship worldwide from Jaipur, India

Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 5–7 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees levied by the destination country — these are the customer's responsibility and vary by country, outside our control

4. Shipping Charges

Domestic (India): Free shipping on prepaid orders above ₹3,000. A flat shipping fee applies below this threshold and is shown at checkout.

International: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight.

5. Order Tracking & Delivery

A tracking number is emailed once your order is dispatched

Please double-check your shipping address and contact details at checkout — Threads of Gulab is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer

If a shipment is returned due to unsuccessful delivery attempts, reshipping charges may apply

6. Delays & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Threads of Gulab is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Extended artisan production timelines during high-demand periods

Weather conditions or natural events

Customs inspections (international orders)

Courier or logistics network disruptions

Where a delay is expected to be significant, we'll proactively reach out with an update. Estimated timelines are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, or does not arrive within the expected delivery window, contact us within 7 working days of delivery (or the expected delivery date) with:

Your order number

Clear unboxing photos or videos, where applicable

We'll investigate with our shipping partners and work toward a fair resolution.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
