How to Measure

For styles where custom sizing or made-to-measure is currently available, accurate body measurements help us confirm the right fit. Availability, price, production time and return terms can vary by style, so contact us or check the relevant product/custom-order information before placing a custom order.

Before you start: wear the undergarments you would normally wear with the garment. Keep the tape snug but not tight, level around the body, and avoid holding your breath. If someone can help you measure, that can improve accuracy.

The five measurements we may ask for

1. Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back without compressing the body.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Bend gently to one side if you need help finding the natural crease.

3. Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape level.

4. Length — shoulder to hem

Start at the top of your shoulder beside your neck and measure down the front of your body to where you want the garment to end. If footwear will materially affect your preferred length, measure with that in mind.

5. Height

Measure your full height without shoes. This can help cross-check a requested garment length.

A few things worth knowing

Measure your body, not a dress you own, unless we specifically ask for garment measurements.

Tell us the unit. Clearly state whether your measurements are in centimetres or inches.

Product-specific measurements take priority. Standard sizing and construction differ between silhouettes, so use the size guide linked from the product page whenever available.

Custom-order terms

A made-to-measure or custom piece may have different production and return conditions from a standard-size item. We will confirm the applicable terms for the specific order before it is finalised; please do not rely on one store-wide lead time or return rule for all custom pieces.
